Unit 1

This is my work of drawing another students bag. What I like about this work is that is the lines and some of the tone of the work. What I dont like about this work is how "unpolished" it looks and there for can look like I done this in two minutes.

This is my work of drawing a shoe in a angry way. What I like about this work is how angry I have made my work look, this includes the rips within the work as well. What I dont like about this work is how unlike a shoe it actually looks, it just looks like a mess to me.

This is my work of drawing another students pen. What I like about this work is that it has a simple look to it but the downside to that is that it looks infinished and needed more detail or somthing else which is the thing I dislike about this work. 

This is my work of the negitive shapes. What I like about this work is the shapes I have done and how closely I have drawned it up to the real objects. What I dont like about this work is my tone is all over the place within my work and most people I asked can see that.

This is my work of drawing 3D objects. What I like about this work is how closely I have drawned the shapes of the real objects themselfs but what I did not like about this work is the lack of detail that I did not have time to place within my work.

This is my work of planning out a story. What I like about this work is that I had a whole range of ideas at the time and it shows within my work but the thing I disliked about this work is its messy and some to most the work is in the wrong places within my story board.

This is my working of drawing a shoe without looking at the paper. What I like about this work is that I have actually kept it looking like a shoe and not a huge mess. What I did not like about it however is that I could not give it good detailing because of the fact that I could not look at the page to help myself.

This is my work of drawing within perspective. What I like about this work is that within some work I really have gave out a sense of perspective but what I did not like about this work is at some point I have messed up that sense of perspective and there for some of it can look "uncanny" to other people.

This work with drawing within perspective is a bit like Da Vinci's work with always following by the rules and keep everything right. whatI learn by looking at his work is that with a few rules and point to follow on the picture. I can make something with a real sense of perspective.

These are the Perspective face drawings. What I like about this work is it looks a lot better then some of the work I have done within my free time. But the down side is I want to know how to draw faces with different art styles and I did not feel that this has helped me draw with them different art styles.

These faces looks a lot like something from one of Jamie Hewlett's work with the not in proportions and not sticking to the rules when it comes to people design. What I learn from this work is that I don't always have to be 100% right all the time and make my own style on how I cant draw.

Proposal for concept art

These are my concept ideas for "Drunken night" its going to be a city that is run by the police gone bad and is now starting to control everything with a iron fist like a totalitarian state. Four friends has gone to a pub to get a few drinks after a hard days work, then they get wrongly accused a crime that they did not commit and there for get arrested and interviewed by the dirty cops. On which the last second of the police going to throw them in a prison, they have found the right person and there for have let the four friends free and leaves the friends to wonder if it is a good idea to give the police so much power.

Character

The Characters are going to be four nameless people with different looks to suit there personality with the police mostly being the same. theres going to be a more strong independent looking person, a pessimist hate-all emo like person, a very shy and easily scared female person and a optimistic always happy and love life person.

Background

It all started when a new prime minister that believes that militarising the police and giving them more power then the law itself was the best way to stop the rise in crime that is happening but in doing this, some dirty cops has started to use this power for there own gain.

This is my sketch up of the final concept art for the "drunken night" the media I have used for this work is pencil, the thing I like about this work is i feel like this is a good starting template for my final design. What I would improve about this work is I should of did the cop within the middle in the same style of the rest of the people to keep one style and should of made him stand out a bit more.

This is my final concept idea for the story of "the drunken night" done by using illustrator to trace over the sketch up idea. What I like about this work is that I have made my own art style to the work to give it a sense of harmony. If I had the chance to improve my work, I would start by giving some more detail in places like the table and change the looks of the microphone a bit.

Overall I feel like I have done my work well and wished to have a Merit but instead got a pass and that bugs me to no end because I have worked really hard with this work and I feel like I deserve a Merit.
