Andy Warhol's Marilyn Prints
This is multiple printings of Marilyn Monroe's face using different colours and tones each time to create a different feel within each one. The equal spacing of this work gives it a sense of the work being neat and looked after carefully, each picture gives its own feelings by the change of colours and tones with each one.
"Fountain" by Marcel Duchamp in 1917
This is a urinal signed by Marcel. This work looks normal because its just a urinal. The materials have been used effective because its just a urinal, its very hard to mess that up. This "work" is realistic because its just a urinal. As you can see from my text with this work, no I do not like this work because it seems lazy to just have a urinal and mark your name on it and nothing else. The work makes me sad because it says that art can be easy work just slap your name on something and its art which I dislike quite a lot. This work will not influence me at all.
sum of all evil by the Chapman brothers (Jack and Dinos)
This is a set of sculptures to create a piece of work
Abstract Expressionism is a more random version of Surrealism that was made in the 40's when world war two was going on and a person named Jackson Pollock came up with the idea, it quite similar to other isms but more random then most of them. Using colourful paints drippings and oils on canvases most of the time.
This game is called geometry wars. I think this game was influenced by Abstract Expressionism because of the games huge and randoms explosions causing the screen to fill up with lots of colours to almost create a Abstract Expressionism art work itself.
This is my visual study for Abstract Expressionism. I have used computer software to make this work by just getting the paint tool and randomly scribble along the page however I liked to do it. The colours are purpously at random and so is the tone to create the sence of abstract expressionism
Cubism is a art style with a use of shapes, mostly squares to create a art work that purposely messes with perspective. Despite the name itself, not all the work is just in squares.
This game called Fez sort of been inspired by Cubism because of one of the merchant of the game is to change the perspective at will there for messing with it and creating a cubism like art with the game itself.
This is my visual arts study for Cubism.I made this using computer software and a picture of me and only used the rectangle tool. The colours are cool at the back to make it stay in the back round and to get eyes on the face which has different colours to the usual background. I have not placed any tone with in this work to keep it pretty simple and I feel like that its better of without tone.
Pointillism is a arts movement from the 1800's Georges Seurat and Paul Signac. The movement is basely using dots to create a picture that is not 100% realistic but has a very nice effect to it. It's normally very colourful with lots of bright colours.
This game is called Dots. I think this game was influenced by Pointillism because of the games use of only dots to stay on the "rules" of Pointillsm. The colours of the game is only colourful to the dots to make sure the player is not confused. There is a lack of tone with this work to keep it simple and to make sure that some people dont mix the colours up if they are colour blind.
This is my visual study for pointillism, I have made this using the paint software on the pc and only using the paint tool to dot around to make a picture out of the dots themselves. The colours are simple and is used at the right places to create a living face just out of dots. I have not used tone for this work because I feel like the white spaces themselves and how some dots are closer and some are further away to create that tone.
Minimalism is a movement on where using the least amount of complexly as possible to create a piece of art work. Some of the artists that could connect to minimalism are Robert Morris, Anne Truitt, and Frank Stella
Thomas was alone is influenced by minimalism because of the use of only very simple shapes and only the most basic colours to make the game.
This is my visual study for minimalism. I made this using computer software and two colours and I have made this as simple as I can for the work to be minimalist. The colours are very simple and they are used to the best effect when they contrast each other. There is no tone because I wanted to keep it as minimalist as I can.
Surrealism is a movement that throws away the normal rules of art and just makes random things that dont make any sense but it is still great to look at. Some people will not like this work because of the lack of normality that is in the work but in my opinion I actually like the movement for being very creative with randomness at the for front.
lsd emulator for the ps1 is a surrealism game because of the pure randomness and pretty much the messed up and warped images to give a person a sense of taking something that someone should never take. I mean look at this picture, its very surrealistic.
This is my visual arts study for surrealism, I made this using Photoshop and a range of pictures. I have kept it strange and odd because that's what surrealism is really. The colours that I have used for this picture is not meant to match anything and was picked by random to keep a sense of surrealism
Pop Art is a movement that normally does things differently with the use of culture in the work and uses advertisement material and colours to create something that is everyday normal to something that is art and almost a bit surreal.
Bio-shock has elements of pop-art because of the creative fake advertisement that are presented within the game. The art within the game is enough the catch some ones attention but its also just in the background that fits with everything else with in the game.
This is my visaul arts study for pop art. This work does imitate Andy Warhols work and the work is pop art because of the colours pop out with a almost comic book like style. The tone of this work helps the colours feel more like they will pop out.
Interactive Art

Here are a few websites that I have found on the internet and is what I would call a interactive art.
These are other art works that are interactive and I have researched to create a better outcome.
Study for a Mirror - 2008
This interactive art was made by using a camera to track your movement. The interesting part about this work is there is only half of this picture, I do not know why this was done on purpose. This interactive art does its job because of the use of the camera to track the movement and making the person themself the art.
Body Paint - 2009
This interactive art was made by using computer software and a projector so when someone comes into "contact" with this interactive art, it would make random colours where the person was last and it was always changing itself because of this random factor within the work itself.
Weave Mirror - 2007
This interactive art was made by using mirrors that were made into strips and then "woven" around each other to make the person interactive with the work look distorted and blurry and therefor creating a almost cubist art work with just the use of a person to interactive with the work itself by standing there.

Danny Morris' comment
Good design so far but needs a bit more explaining from the blue-print for me to understand the idea itself but when you have explained it to me I understood the process more. Hopefully some sound will be placed in as the project goes on.
This is my blue print for my interactive art. This shows my ideas and ways of doing the interactive art. I've added a mute button after the blueprint.
This is a short video of me testing my interactive art.
